Here are just some of my photos from my week long trip to Finland with my mum. We went to visit my Aunt and Uncle who emigrated to Kauniainen, on the outskirts of Helsinki, in 1997. Finland is a beautiful country and although it was damp, soggy and the thermometer struggled to get much below 0C (rather than a white winter wonderland at -20) I was able to explore this land with the excitement and curiosity. Thanks to Aunty Wendy for driving us places like the old town of Porvoo, where I ran away to explore an old train yard (previous post) and the glorious national park of Syöte.
