Folk Night!

I had a lovely evening last night thanx to the Sunset folk night on the boat at Vauxhall (cheers Rosanna). I was drawing pretty much the whole time and here are some of what I did...

Hymn To The Immnortal Wind

Right, i bought this at the weekend, A double LP by my favourite ever band Mono. They are amazing and this record is truly epic, have a listen if you can. The artwork is also beautiful...it comes sheets for every song title with a short story and a beautiful illustration for each.

Death Metal and Deptford

This piece is based on Death Metal and Grindcore. This is my first water colour piece on water colour paper and I am stoked at how it has turned out. i want to write something on the bottom right-hand corner, but I'm not sure what, so if anyone has got any ideas...?

Beatles to Bowie... and then Judas Priest

Had a mad day today. First time I used my bicycle in london properly-went to the Beatles to Bowie exhibition at the National Portrait gallery, it was immense!! (despite the 9quid fee!!) I was in there about 3 hours...anyway here are some scribblings....



And I cycled to Shoreditch and got this from Rough Trade...YEEEAAAAH!

Object 'Chair' Project

Here are two images from the object project. The first one is a connotation of the Judas cradle-just another form of torture. The second image is two example's of alternative uses for my chair. This project is really grating on me now so I can't wait to get it done and out the way. I don't like these pictures at all, but they are the best of a bad bunch. I guess this is probably why I haven't bothered posted anything-just ran out of creative juice. I reckon I'll be back on form now though.

Yesss they are placed on my board...had a pretty shit time of skateboarding recently as in not doing it! However, found a lovely spot in Bewdley, a carpark by the river. Was having a good go at that today :)
